Unlike a bulky motorhome, it allows you unrestricted access to secluded beaches 🏄, easy parking in any city center 🏙️, and benefits from Class 1 toll rates 🛣️ (the cheapest in Portugal!), saving your travel budget significantly.Powered by a highly reliable diesel engine, it is incredibly fuel-efficient ⛽. Inside, you'll find a very comfortable and air-conditioned cabin ❄️, paired with a generous trunk featuring the perfect space to neatly organize all your luggage and the camping gear we provide 🧳. For getaways during the colder months, the booking automatically includes a complete Winter Kit ❄️(thermal insulation, appropriate sleeping bags, and an anti-condensation base mattress) so you always have warm and cozy nights.
🎒 All-Inclusive 'Fly & Drive' Gear: Just Bring Your Clothes!Since we know many of our guests fly into Portugal with limited luggage, the Nómada is ready for the road. We provide a fully equipped camping inventory at no extra cost, so you can start exploring from minute one.To make this overland experience possible while keeping a true 'home away from home' comfort, and especially for those who love to prepare their own meals in nature, here is what we have available: 
🛌 Sleep & Shower: A waterproof mattress protector, fitted sheets, warm sleeping bags, comfortable camping pillows, bath towels (so you don't need to waste luggage space!), and a portable solar shower for off-grid washing. 
🍳 The Outdoor Kitchen: A portable gas stove (with 2 gas cartridges included), a Moka pot for your morning espresso, a pot, frying pans, a grill, a cutting board & knife, a clever collapsible washbasin, a basic cleaning kit (sponge, dish soap, cloth, and trash bags), and a complete dining set (plates, cups, and cutlery for everyone). 
🪑 Chill & Dining Area: A foldable outdoor table and comfortable camping chairs to enjoy your meals with a view. 
💡 Off-Grid Essentials: A 15L water jerrycan to keep you hydrated, a USB rechargeable camping lantern, and headlamps for hands-free nighttime navigation. 
⛑️ Safety First: For your total peace of mind, the Nómada comes with a homologated first-aid kit, a 1kg fire extinguisher, reflective vests, and a warning triangle.
🌟 Optional Extras (On-Demand)To make your trip even more relaxing and tailored to your needs, we offer a few optional extras for a small additional fee (payable upon check-in). Just let us know when booking if you'd like to add any of these to your trip: 
🏖️ Sun Kit: 20 €. Includes 2 large beach towels and 1 beach umbrella. Perfect for those sunny Algarve and Alentejo beach days without buying gear you can't take on the plane! 
🧼 Hassle-Free Cleaning (Pre-paid): 30 €. Want to enjoy your trip until the very last minute without worrying about washing the car and the tent before drop-off? Add this convenient service! (Note: If this option is not selected, the vehicle and equipment must be returned as clean as they were delivered. Otherwise, a 50 € cleaning penalty will be deducted from the security deposit at check-out, as agreed in the rental contract).
⏰ Operating Hours, Check-In & Check-Out: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Check-In: Vehicle pick-up must be scheduled within our regular operating hours. When you arrive to pick up the Nómada here in Oeiras, we won't just hand you the keys. We will take the time to do a full walkthrough of the car together, demonstrate exactly how to pop up and close the roof tent, show you where all the gear is safely stored, and clear up any doubts. It's also the perfect moment for us to share some final local tips for your route!
Check-Out: Drop-off also takes place within our operating hours. The check-out procedure is very simple and relaxed: we will meet back at the initial location, do a quick walk-around to check the vehicle and the gear, confirm the fuel tank is full (just as we delivered it to you), and—most importantly—hear all the amazing stories from your trip!

⚠️ Tolls & Security Deposit: The vehicle is equipped with an electronic toll tag (Via Verde). During check-out, 30 € will be temporarily retained from your security deposit to cover any automatic toll charges that might take a few days to process in the system. The final adjustment and the refund of the remaining amount will be made via MBWay, bank transfer, or Revolut within 3 to 5 days
