Lada Niva Camper to rent from central Barcelona!

It is ideal to discover Catalunya for a long weekend (Costa Brava, Garrotxa, etc.) or further if you have more time (Basque country, Ibiza, etc..). 

This said, quick disclaimer : It is not possible to stay overnight with the van in Barcelona city, although it is possible in the surroundings or nearby campings (25 minutes away).

This car is perfect for a couple and can fit up to 2 people : It has 1 double bed (142x244cm) It is equipped with all the essentials to enjoy the stay : a fridge, 1 portable gas stoves, cooking utensils (pans, pots, coffee machine etc...), dishes (plates, cups), cutlery, sink, one table, 2 foldable seats, an external shower (solar shower) and a radio. We also have the necessary car chargers for your laptop and phones (USB and a converter for 1 domestic plug). 

Here are the requirements to drive the vehicle : Being older than 23 years old, with a driving license granted for more than 2 years, and valid to drive in Spain (check if yours is fine, or if you need an official translation or international permit. If any doubt, please ask us)

Before you hit the road, we will explain you everything about the vehicle including a quick test ride, we will sign a contract with the accessories inventory. To cover for it, we take 900€ deposit that is given back at checkout.

Being a 1992 vehicle, It is made for cruising with a top speed of 95km/h. The fuel consumption is around 10L/100kms (unleaded fuel). A few more perks being : no assisted steering system and not suitable for people under 160cms (because you can not adjust the seats that much) but you will be able to travel in time and enjoy the scenery.

On top of the rental, we offer to give you tips and advices on where to stay, camping sites and places to visit so that you can plan your journey ahead. The law about wild camping and overnight stays in Spain depend on every city. The easiest solution is to stay on official sites : special camping-car areas, car parks, etc.  or camping sites. 

There is a lot of marvelous places to discover around Barcelona : beaches, mountains, etc. Most rentals are to go to : Costa Brava, Garrotxa, Ibiza, Pais vasco, Delata del Ebre, Valencia.

Our vehicle is in an underground carpark in Central Barcelona in the neighboorhood of Collblanc.

--- DRIVING RESTRICTIONS IN BARCELONA ---

Being a vintage vehicle, the Lada Niva can not be driven weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 07AM to 8PM within Barcelona because of the ZBE (low emission area)  . If your checkin/checkout is weekday, we would book a special permit to be able to drive that day, which might have an extra cost.
