We are renting our new Rocket One XL van (June 2024), based on a Peugeot Boxer 3.5t 2.2l BlueHDI front-wheel drive 6-speed manual transmission of 165 hp.

Our van is perfect for young families since 1 to 5 people can travel comfortably.

The Rocket Camper One XL is a van without a shower cabin and ultra-spacious. This is quite rare in Europe (but more common in the USA): designing a layout in a large van, with no bathroom. We get a very clear benefit from it: a big space gain . Behind the two cabin seats, there are up to three real seats on rails that can recline. You can therefore place three, two or a single seat, or even remove everything if you are traveling as a couple. Do not hesitate to tell us the number of seats you wish to travel with.

Between the front and rear seats is a table, resting on one side on the wall of the vehicle, on the other thanks to a strap, secured to the ceiling. This suspended table has an advantage: you are not bothered by the table leg.

In the central part, there is a wide open space, where you can find a large L-shaped kitchen. In front of us, two gas burners hidden under a wooden cover that will serve as a worktop. Under this gas cooker is the 80-liter refrigerator (with freezer space). On the lower part there are many storage spaces, including a drawer containing the chemical toilet. For the use of the chemical toilet, we will provide you with the first 2 doses to start your trip peacefully.

Then comes the sink. We lift an additional worktop to free up its entire width and discover a plug. This is where we fill the water tank (50 liters). The tank is placed under the kitchen (therefore frost-free). In addition to the kitchen faucet, a shower head is extendable. A hatch in the wall will be used to ventilate the kitchen or to pass this sliding pipe. You can therefore take your shower outside. (But not inside, since the Rocket One XL does not have a shower tray.) Be careful, the outdoor shower only has water at room temperature.

The pop-up roof opens to reveal a sleeping area. There is a spring system under the mattresses for good ventilation and comfortable sleep. All mattresses are covered with mattress protectors and freshly washed fitted sheets. Since blankets and pillows depend heavily on the temperatures of the travel destination and your own preferences, we do not provide them.

The rear part is covered by a large bed. Very large, even: 192 x 180 cm, allowing 2 adults or 3 children / teenagers to fit comfortably. Better: the bed base can be raised on both sides. It can therefore be configured in sofa position (with the backrest tilted) forward, or backward. Nice, when the double door is open. From a more functional point of view, the rear part can be raised to place one or two bikes, as in our photos, and the front part to access the impressive hold from the inside.

Finally, note that this van is equipped with storage almost everywhere: hanging bags, overhead cupboards, nets or even floor boxes. Each niche in the wall or ceiling is thus used. Another important detail: the curtains placed between the bed and the kitchen, and behind the passenger seats. It is therefore possible to isolate the bedroom for sleeping or the central part (when using the toilet for example).

This camper van is 6.4 meters long. Thanks to the rear camera, this van is easy to maneuver. The authorized total mass is 3.5 tons and must not be exceeded. Be careful when loading, you can load about 600 kg depending on the configuration and number of seats. The fuel tank holds 90 liters. You will receive the motorhome with a full tank, please return it to us with a full tank after your trip.

The motorhome has a 210 Wp solar system on the roof and 2 batteries. Depending on the sun radiation, you may travel autonomously for a relatively long time. There are USB sockets and light sources in many places in the motorhome. Regular sockets are also available (these can only be used if the motorhome is connected to the 220V electricity network).

The motorhome also has a towbar for a bicycle rack, for example. We can rent you one for 2 or 4 bicycles.

All windows in the motorhome are equipped with mosquito nets and blinds. The sliding door also has a mosquito net. The driver's cabin is equipped with an insulation and blackout kit to be installed upon arrival. Our Rocket One also has an awning that can be easily installed in a slide to protect you from the sun... or the rain.

The Webasto diesel heating (2 kW) can be used in cold weather. In addition, we can provide the additional insulation kit for the pop-up roof chamber in winter.

In the very large rear hold, you will find a camping table and 4 camping chairs, 2 of which recline. If you are travelling with 5 people, we can provide a larger camping table and 1 or 2 benches.

The basic equipment of the motorhome includes the following equipment included in the price:

• Wedges and spirit level: Wedges are very important to level the motorhome on uneven ground so that you sleep well and straight at night.

• Electrical equipment: Power cable from the van to CEE three-phase socket, 40m extension cable (3 x 1.5mm CEE), adapter cable from CEE socket to European socket and adapter cable from European socket to CEE.

• Hose to fill the water tank, basic toolbox.

• Gas bottle installed and second spare.

• Safety equipment: 5 high visibility vests, warning triangle, car first aid kit and tire repair kit.
