We are delighted to offer for hire this wonderful Defender 110 SW - 2.2 TD4.

The vehicle, from 2012, has been thoroughly maintained and is in perfect condition. Its setup is simple, designed for off-road expeditions. The suspension will provide you with safety and a fairly pleasant driving experience both on the road and on tracks. The 6-speed gearbox and its remapping also make the journeys more enjoyable.

Its interior layout is quite straightforward: a drawer-style loading bay configuration providing plenty of storage space, along with an aluminium roof top tent (great wind resistance), fully equipped (insulation, LED lighting, anti-condensation, etc.).

At the back, you'll find a 'kitchen corner' table, as well as the water tank, fridge/freezer (two compartments, perfect for this summer's Ben&Jerry's). You’ll also find your rest equipment (table, comfortable chairs, footrests, etc.). Hot water is provided by a Kampa Geyser water heater, delivering instant hot water: showers are much more enjoyable this way!

Similarly, for the winter season (December, January, February), an independent diesel heater will be provided with the vehicle to heat the rooftop tent.

The 4x4 is very dog-friendly! We can also lend you a comfortable folding dog crate for transport and overnight stays, which fits perfectly on the sliding tray of the load bay drawer.

In addition to its 150cm/200cm roof tent (fits 2 adults/1 child), the Defender is equipped with a 270-degree 'stand-alone' awning with outdoor LED lighting. This provides an extra 11m² of covered and illuminated space in case of adverse weather.

The vehicle can accommodate two to three people in the roof tent, but an additional 2-person tent can be provided with the vehicle or a double camp bed for the more adventurous or for stargazing in the summer.

Two sleeping bags can be provided, just be sure to purchase liners.

Its power supply is supported by two coupled/separated batteries, and the fridge has its own battery protection system. (The battery life is more than enough for a night of camping).

Please note when making your booking: For work-related reasons, Morris (our Defender) will be available for pick-up in Bordeaux at the beginning of the week. At weekends, the pick-up will be in Bourdalat (it’s possible to collect you from Mont de Marsan train station).
