Main Features:

• Off-road capabilities: Enjoy the freedom to explore the island without limits. The Terrano is ideal for accessing remote paths and trails, but it’s not designed for very difficult terrains. It’s important to be aware of road conditions and drive with caution, as some routes can be dangerous or extremely challenging. Always best to go slowly and with care.

• Roof tent for 2 people: Wake up to stunning views! This tent provides a spacious and comfortable sleeping area, with easy installation and protection from mosquitoes. The tent sets up and folds down in under 5 minutes, allowing you to enjoy comfort anywhere on the island. It’s also perfect for those looking to disconnect and reconnect with nature.

• Fully equipped: The Nissan Terrano is equipped with everything you need for an independent and comfortable trip: kitchen utensils, fridge, and even a dining area with a table and chairs. It also features a 10L water system, perfect for camping anywhere.

With it, the holidays start as soon as the engine starts. Drive at a relaxed pace and stop whenever you want. Driving on rural roads or along the coast is a true delight.

If you’re a surfer, bring your gear if you have it, or you can rent it wherever you like on the island.

The recommended maximum speed is between 80 and 110 km/h. This vehicle is not designed for going fast in any direction. But drive it carefully, and it will take you anywhere!

On the road/motorway, the expected fuel consumption is between 10 and 15 L/100 km, depending on driving conditions.

As there is extra weight due to all the equipment installed, especially on the vehicle’s roof, it is advisable to take extra care, particularly in parking lots and on more winding or challenging off-road trails. Note that the height with the roof tent is 2.30 metres, so it’s important to be mindful of height when parking or driving in tight spaces.

Inside the vehicle, you’ll find air conditioning and heating to ensure your comfort in any climate.

Camping regulations in Madeira:

The best option is to look for campsites or designated areas for this purpose, which are spread across the island. Camping in nature, outside of these areas, may result in fines due to environmental protection and the preservation of Madeira’s valuable landscape.

Before you head off: Instructions will be provided on optimal driving, engaging the low-range gear, setting up and packing down the tent, equipment, and more. During check-in, we will explain everything you need to know for a safe and enjoyable trip. Throughout the journey, you can rely on our support for any questions and help with your itinerary. Opening hours: 09:00 to 19:00. Check-ins and check-outs before 09:00 or after 19:00 will incur an additional charge of €50.
